Anderson Resumes

IS IT OKAY TO USE A TEMPLATE FOR MY RESUME?

Ask yourself the following question:

  • Do you want your resume to look and sound like everyone else's?

There's nothing wrong with using a template as a STARTING POINT.

But you must make your resume uniquely your own.

Prove that you are the BEST candidate for the job and show why.

Tell YOUR STORY by listing specific accomplishments including facts and figures.

Create a custom made resume for the position and company you currently want to impress. This isn't hard if you've done your research about the company.

None of this is possible if you're typing over a generic resume only adding your name and history.

You get one chance for a first impression. Don't send a mediocre resume and expect great results.
